Hello everybody! We speak to you as the administration and moderation of the Hungarian Eurovision forum (http://eschungary.hu/forum).

Two years ago, the leaders and members of Spanish Eurovision forum started to organize a contest among other European ESC forums to learn more about the country and music scene of each other. 5 Eurovison forums participated in the first Eurovision Forum Song Contest that was organized by Spanish Eurovision forum. Hungary won the first edition, so we had to organize the next one. France was the winner of the 2nd edition, but some days ago the French Group threw back the organization of the 3rd EFSC. Hungary camed 2nd so we’re the hosts again in this year. These two contests was very exciting and successful, so it’s time to continue this game among more and more European fans who love to vote!

The main idea is rather simple.

- This contest is for forum members of Eurovision countries.

- Each participant forum would send a song of any time sung by somebody born in the country in some of the official / co-official languages of it.

- The method of song selection would be an internal matter in each forum. At the end of the letter, we enclose those which will be the rules of our “form choice” in order to try to hel you a little if you feel lost

- Then, all the songs will be put in common and, depending on the participant forums, we will vote for the songs in Eurovision way: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 12 points.

- The length of the theme would be 4:30 at maximum and no ESC songs would be allowed.

- When we receive all the songs, and get the English translation of the title of the song too, we will announce the start of voting method.

- We will send you the official page of the contest that you can translate to your language at your forum. The language of the shows would be English and, in an optional way, in the official language of each country.

- The announcement of the results, it is said “shows” (presentation of the songs, final show…) would be published in our official page and sent to the others’ forum administrations to publish it and to be fully informed of everything. If by any reason, the winner could not organise the following contest, the second qualified would assume responsibility for it, etc…

We think that the idea is illusionary and different enough to know a little bit more those other European partners on Internet “really unknown” for us. We are planning the start of the show in April. We believed that a whole month would be OK to know what forums would be interested in taking part and to see if our idea is feasible (everything depends on, of course, on the number of participants). We should also be glad if you knew some other forums of Eurovision that are not in the list that we attach, you inform them of our plan.

Our pre-selection rules:

- National artist singing in official / co-official language of the country
- Forum members will only take part in the contest sending their songs and voting if they have registered one month before the start.
- Maximum length of time of the songs: 4’30
- Send all the suggested songs to your forum administrator.
- After the deadline, the administrator will publish all the songs, and after that vote for all the songs in Eurovision way.
- After the deadline, the forum administrator will publish the top12 songs and you have to vote for these songs only.
- All the voting periods are 10 days.
- The ultimate winner song will join to the common list.
